Creating & Publishing Social Posts

SmartlyQ's post creation tool lets you compose, preview, and publish or schedule content to multiple social media platforms simultaneously. Write once, publish everywhere.

How to Access

Navigate to Publish > Create Post from the sidebar.

Creating a Post

  1. Click Create Post
  2. Select the social accounts you want to post to
  3. Write your content — use the text editor with formatting options
  4. Attach media — upload images/videos or select from your Media Library
  5. Customise per platform — toggle platform-specific options (hashtags, first comment, alt text)
  6. Choose to Publish Now, Schedule, or Add to Queue
  7. Click Submit

Platform-Specific Features

  • Instagram — first comment for hashtags, carousel support, Reels
  • Facebook — link previews, photo albums
  • LinkedIn — document posts (PDF carousels), article links
  • X (Twitter) — thread support, polls
  • TikTok — video posts with descriptions
  • Pinterest — pin to specific boards with links

Generate public share links for individual posts to share with clients or stakeholders for approval before publishing.

Tip: Use the AI assistant within the post composer to generate hashtags, improve copy, or translate content into other languages.
