How to Add Your Own Black Forest Labs API Key to SmartlyQ

Step 1: Creating Your Black Forest Labs API Key

1. Sign Up or Log In:

• Navigate to the Black Forest Labs API Page: https://dashboard.bfl.ai/api/keys.
• If you don’t have an account, sign up for a new account. If you already have one, simply log in with your credentials.

2. Add a new API key:

• Once logged in, navigate to the </> API section and press Keys. Then, press "Add Key".

• Give it a meaningful name first (e.g. SmartlyQ) and then press "Create Key"

• After it is created, press the "copy to clipboard" icon to copy it.

• Make sure to add/purchase credits, otherwise you will not be able to generate any images. Go to Credits, under the </> API section:

1. Log into SmartlyQ:

• Go to the SmartlyQ app and log in to your account.

2. Navigate to Avatar> Account**:**

• Look for the Account on the top left corner in the left side menu. Expand the "Avatar" dropdown (with your name) and select the "Account" option.

3. Find API Key Configuration:

• In the next screen select “AI Connect” from the left hand menu.

4. Paste Your API Key:

• In the provided field, paste the Black Forest Labs API key you copied earlier and finally press "Save changes".
• Make sure there are no extra spaces before or after the key when pasting.

5. Save Changes:

• Check the box "Active and use my API key.".
• Ensure you click on “Save Changes” at the very bottom to store your changes.
