How to set default AI Models and add your own

In SmartlyQ, you can choose the AI models that some of the Tools will use by default.

Go to the Default models

1. Log into SmartlyQ:

  • Go to SmartlyQ and log in to your account.

2. Navigate to Avatar > Account:

  • Look for the Account on the top left corner in the left side menu. Expand the "Avatar" dropdown (with your name) and select the "Account" option.

3. Find the AI Connect menu item:

  • In the next screen select β€œAI Connect” from the left hand menu.

4. Find the Default Model section:

  • Scroll down to the bottom of the page and you will see the box for the "Default model".

For each of the SmartlyQ Tools, you can select a default model to be used:

  • Templates
  • Data Analyst
  • Image Generator
  • Assistant
  • Article Generator

You can also add a new model, if it is not listed in the dropdown menus, and then select it here.

When ready, click save changes to register your selections.

Add new models

To add a new model, such as when not listed in the default models section, or the SmartlyQ provided system models, press the "Add New Model" link.

You will be redirected to the Models Screen. Press the "Add Model" button to add your model.

Selet the provider/vendor, the type (image/text) and finally the type in the exact model name as it appears in it's API documentation. For example, if you want to add OpenAI's GPT 4 model, type in "gpt-4".

Press the "Add" button to add your model.

Now you can go back to the default models (or in any tool you use) and select your own model.
