SmartlyQ's Video Editor is a full-featured, browser-based video editing suite. Edit footage, add effects, overlay text, include audio, and export professional-quality videos — all without leaving your browser.

How to Access
Navigate to Create > Video Editor from the sidebar.
Getting Started with the Editor
- Click Create New Project or open an existing project
- Import media — upload files or select from your Media Library
- Arrange on timeline — drag clips onto the timeline tracks
- Edit and trim — cut, split, and rearrange clips as needed
- Add elements — text, transitions, effects, audio
- Preview — play back your edit in the preview window
- Export — choose your resolution, format, and quality, then export
Editing Tips
- Organise your media first — name and sort your clips before editing
- Use keyboard shortcuts — speed up common operations like cut, copy, and paste
- Work with multiple tracks — layer video, audio, and text on separate tracks
- Preview frequently — check your edit often to catch issues early
- Save regularly — projects auto-save, but save manually before major changes
The Video Editor supports common video formats (MP4, WebM), audio formats (MP3, WAV), and image formats (JPG, PNG, GIF) for import. Exported videos are optimised for web and social media playback.
Tip: Use the Text to Video and Image to Video tools to generate raw footage, then edit and combine everything in the Video Editor for a polished final product.
