How to Use the Article Generator

The Article Generator on SmartlyQ is an intuitive tool designed to help you create high-quality content quickly and efficiently. Follow these instructions to generate articles using this feature.

Step 1: Access the Article Generator

• Log in to your SmartlyQ account
• Navigate to the "TOOLS" section on the left-hand menu and select the "Article Generator" item. You may also find it as a template in the Templates section.

To create a new article, press the "Create" button on the top right:

There are three basic inputs that you have to fill in:

Step 2: Input information to the generator

-Select the Language

In the Language dropdown menu, select the language in which you want the article to be generated. This option allows you to create content in multiple languages to suit your audience.

-Select the Tone of Voice

In the Tone of Voice dropdown menu, select the tone in which you want the article to be generated. This option allows you to create content with a specific tone that suits your audience.

-Enter Keywords

In the Focus Keywords field, enter any keywords that you want the article to focus on. Separate multiple keywords with commas. These will be used to generate a suitable title.

When ready, simply press the "Next" button.

-Article Title

After pressing "Next", a new field Article Title, will be revealed, prepopulated with a relevent Title for your article. At this point yoy may also type in the title of the article you want or you can press teh "regenerate title" icon to force the tool to regenerate another variation of the title. Make sure the title is clear and reflective of the content you wish to create, as this will guide the article generation process.

You'll also find two new optional fields: Context and Audience.

The Context field allows you to provide additional information or background details that you want the AI to consider when generating the article. This can help the AI understand the nuances of your topic and produce more relevant and accurate content. For instance, you could specify a particular industry, a current event, or a specific angle you want the article to take.

The Audience field lets you define who the target readers are for your article. By specifying your audience (e.g., "beginner developers," "marketing professionals," "general public"), the AI can tailor the article's language, complexity, and examples to better resonate with them, ensuring your content is both engaging and effective.

-Embeds - Images and Videos

There are also two checkboxes, both optional, to enrich your content with media:

• YouTube videos related to the article are included. Enable this to fech relevant YouTube videos and embed them inside your article. You'll need to create and input your own YouTube API key into your account. You can find more information in this article.

• Include images related to the article. Enable this to find/generate relevant images and embed them in various places across the article. You can select various AI image models to suit your needs.

Step 3: Generate the Article

After filling in the necessary fields, click on the Write Article button. The system will process your inputs and create a draft article based on your specifications. Wait for the generator to finish writing your article. This may take some time especially if embeding media.

Step 4: Review and Save

Once the article is generated, take some time to review the content. You can also perform the following actions with the buttons on top right corner:

• copy to clipboard: copy to clipboard and then paste it to your favorite text processor application for further editing.
• share: share the generated article via your Zapier or Pabbly webhook. You will need to setup those first in the Account Details section. Refer to this article for more information.
• download as file: Download as a text file to your local disk.
